MSc in Advanced Software Engineering

In recent years Software Engineering has undergone a shift in emphasis from the traditional, process-oriented approach to more lightweight approaches where the emphasis is on the programmer, and the development of flexible, maintainable code. This masters programme is specifically geared at experienced industrial software engineers and aims to provide them with the foundational skills necessary to apply these new developments in their own work.

Part-Time Masters Programme in Advanced Software Engineering
This part-time degree takes two years and is aimed at software engineers working in industry, and the programme structure reflects this. Six intensive modules are taken at a rate of three a year. Each module is one week in duration, with a written examination taking place usually in the subsequent summer examination period.
Please note that two years of industrial software engineering experience is required for entry to this programme.
